About Pope Phoenix

Pope Phoenix is a self-taught, Bronx-born art director,  illustrator, and motion designer. A father, a full-time digital mercenary and a mentor to designers on social media. His clients have included IBM, ESSENCE, BET, Under Armor, Target, Old Navy & Wal-Mart.
Pope has participated in multiple art shows, has released four children's books: Earl's NestEgg Adventure, Earl's Little Book of Annuities and The Legend of the Income Stream and Charlie and His Imaginary Friend, and launched a sticker line called The Glorious Monster. In the last two years his Illustrations have been published by ESSENCE, HANNAH and QUO magazines. 
William Pope aka Pope Phoenix is a self-taught, Bronx-born art director,  illustrator, graphic designer, who is also a father, a part-time assassin and an after-hours super hero. During his career Pope has worn many creative hats working as a designer for magazines (ESSENCE, HANNAH Magazine), for clothing (Target, Old Navy & Wal-Mart), designing websites and apps (BET Networks) as well as a video editor (Under Armor).
